In 1970 Richard M. Jordan, Sr. started a small manufactures representative company specializing in process and commercial heating called, Richard M. Jordan and Associates. By 1973 this small one-man office had become a thriving company with offices in Memphis, and Nashville Tennessee, and Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1976 Richard M. Jordan and Associates became Jordan, Marlar, Hale, Inc. when Jim Hale of Nashville and Jim Marlar of Little Rock became part owners and by the early 1980's JMH had offices in Knoxville, TN and Birmingham, Al. In the 80's JMH continued its aggressive growth with new emphasis on controls and instrumentation. With this new emphasis JMH became a company specializing in the “Closed-Loop”. Now, not only, carrying heaters but, also, thermocouples, controllers, flow and level instrumentation, JMH has the products to help engineer and solve any heating application.
